if you use fiux core you can weld on rusted metal, fluc core is considered the 6010 of mig. if you use hardwire you will get alot of perosity. great video.
yea i no the mig is electric but i also own a electric welder what uses a welding rob no gas or anything just a high voltage goin through it and a earth. it is to power full to use . my misakte on my comment
I have a Century wire feed and use .030 flux core. i didn’t know about changing polarity and I’m not sure if I need to change anything. I build race car rollcages and have never had a weld break but I’m starting a ratrod and I want to make sure I’m getting the best weld I can. With the flux core what should my polarity be?
I’d also emphasize the danger of breaking the spigot off of your pressurized gas tank. If the pressure is high enough (which it usually is) it can become a projectile which can easily crash through good brick or cinder block walls with ease. I’ve heard stories of some people not even standing a chance when one of those broke and flew at them. They make for unexpected funerals.

Starter motors aren’t rated for continuous duty. It would probably burn up if ran for too long.
